My Dad, bless his heart, bought one of my guns when I was out of work. It is a Winchester m94 450 Marlin I bought to pack on hiking trips and when we picked berries in Grizzly Country. I Dad and I used to do a lot of hikes in bear country and that was the gun I carried. I called it my "Bear Swatter" and it is indeed a comfort to have in your hands.

I told him I was going to have to sell it along with some other guns. He insisted on buying it from me and perhaps one day I might buy it back. He bought it from me less than a year ago. I was able to scrape together enough money to buy it back from him (by selling a few things, including my last two UL fly rods which helped out with a couple hundred bucks of it), but he was needing some money so I bought it back.

You are fortunate to get the Winchester back home. I sold my Model 94 30-30 and have regretted it ever since.

Glad you got it back
