Ha!
I haven't got out much with this heat. I've been out of the state for most of the year for work so I've been buying stuff. Getting ready to retire here very shortly and should have plenty of time to use some of this stuff. Probably head up to the Mogollon Rim lakes/creeks and Big Lake in the White Mountains until things cool down a bit here in the valley.

For a guy living in Far East Mesa that's quite a collection . I wouldn't spend money like that on fishing sticks living in Mesa , Az but some people do ... BTW , when you try to pull a PM it still gets sent to the recipient .

Especially with light spinning tackle, there does seem to be a price point where they can truly execute the idea and design without compromise. And keep it impossibly light in the process. Nice assembly of toys and tools up there, it'll be interesting to read your experiences with them over time. Useful bunch of rigs for comparisons and evaluations, could be very helpful to many pondering purchases in this market. You're one dude who really knows how to put together a retirement plan, this is a certainty.

I'm a little late responding.... but I have noticed that I will spend the majority of my time with one of my higher end jdm combos in my hand while fishing even though 6 other rods are out beside me in the boat. My 6' ul shimano I bought from Chris has caught bass, crappie, catfish, and a helluva lotta bluegill over the last few years ....and a 9lb gaspergou that was in hand in less than a minute....all on 3#test line. Sometimes you get what you pay and sometimes you get even more.
