I can't go fishing yet, so I have nothing to post about. My back hurts; my left foot hurts; I don't feel good, and my Sooners lost to LSU. I'm old and fat and tired, and nobody got me a new rod or reel for Christmas. Is that enough excuses? If not I'm sure I can come up with more.

I am a participant, whether active or not. But what's this, did Ralphie retire? I just thought he had forgotten his password.

Yeah, I'm an active reader and occasional poster. All my water's under plenty of ice and plenty of snow. Took a walk down to the stream yesterday and spent an hour or so checking wildlife tracks along the stream valley. No open water, but I do enjoy the silence of the winter forest. Then I rushed home to the woodstove and a wee dram.

I've been busy working to pay off a lot of bills, and buy some new toys I need, ok , that I want for fishing this year. I figured I didn't have anything interesting to post lately, so I haven't.

Hey Cliff, what 's age got to do with it? I'm 72 and I don't recall ever forgetting anything.

I *almost* post often but then get lazy and close the window (I almost closed this one). It's across the boards(s) for me... hehe. Just not super engaged these days, and definitely not fishing enough, if at all.
I have some blanks on hand, so maybe I'll post some of those builds at some point.
