Couldn't find the thread but Jangles suggested applying Gink to a cheap fly line as it was shedding alot of water on the forward cast; this is very visible at night when lights are reflecting on the water.
I applied paste wax as a cheap substitute and it worked, solving the problem of the line absorbing water.
Wanted to get this out there as a thank you.

Glad to see something I suggest works ! lol Now use the sighter on a nymph rig .JimRed , after applying it to your fly pull your leader through your finger to get the excess floatant off helping that fly stay high and dry !
