My eyes are gettin' worse, course I'm 72, but I'm having more trouble with the smaller hooks? Thanks y'all! Have a blessed weekend and stay safe!

I usually fish 6-12, weighted with non lead wire and bead heads. I have thrown unweighted #2 streamers without any problem. All on a two weight.

That is pretty much the size range I use for most of my warmwater fishing. I rarely fish for trout anymore, but when I do I don't go any smaller than a 16 if I can help it. Used to use 20-22 size hooks but no way can I run a tippet through eyes that small anymore. I'm 72 also, but have a retinopathy in the right eye that essentially destroys the central vision in my right eye. Thus my depth perception really sucks and I keep missing the eye of the hook. I guess the only thing worse than getting old is not getting old. :lol

Much the same as Strummer, also have a stigma in my left eye and a lesser one in my right eye. Being 77 years old as Canoeman says does not help.
