Is that the rod built on the Olde English Fly Shop blank? Looks like mine. I fish mine with a WF1 line, either Barrio Small Stream or Orvis Hydros Superfine. Great little rod.

Larry I've been fishing the rod with a 2 wt. I will salvage some 1 wt from the running line of heavier weights and give that a try. Thanks

Both of the lines I mentioned are closer to a 1.5 weight line rather than a true 1 weight. After I got my rod, Ron sent me a 1 weight line he had and it was just too light for efficient casting. On light line rods that won't be used much for long casts, the Barrio Small Stream line is the best I have found, and it only costs about $39.

Larry Good info, I will be able to match 1.5 wt from my ample supply of running lines
