Wow, that really had to be fun. I can’t imagine catching a 6.5 lb largemouth on a 3 wt fly rod. Nice job Cliff.

Impressed by the catch itself, equally so that you were able to do it from a belly boat. I can't believe some of you actually get them close enough to grab 'em with light rods like that. Even with a net, 6lb+ is a tough bass...you Boga Gripped it. 8)

Guess I'm just not a boat guy and need solid footing to complete these tasks.

I don't remember what the fly was other than a #12 bluegill fly. I had just caught a nice coppernose bluegill next to a log in the water and threw the fly back in the same spot to see if I could catch another one. Unfortunately that nasty ditch pickle came and took it. :lol It jumped a couple of times but didn't throw the hook.
