I go on vacation for eight days and come back and see that no one has posted anything new!!! You guys can do better than that!! I wish I could post about all the fish I caught in Colorado waters, but I wasn't able to even wet a line. On Saturday, the day before I left, I apparently strained a muscle in my left butt cheek - yes, that's right - and by Tuesday was in such pain that I had to go to an ER in Fruita, CO. The doc gave me some vicodin and that helped, but I still couldn't walk much and certainly couldn't go wading in a rock-filled stream. But I was able to get in and out of the car and take over 800 pics all over Colorado and the Arches National Park in Utah. By early afternoon each day the pain was bad, but I wasn't going to let that ruin my trip. After all, men don't show pain or cry..................except back in the motel at night. My butt hurt!!! I'll post some pics in a few days when I get them sorted out.

But a girl at the health club said that I had a cute butt.

Unfortunately, I've worked 12 to 14 hours per day for 20 of the 23 days since Hurricane Ida hit. Outside of a trip to CA for a wedding this coming weekend, I probably won't see another day off until November. It's good to be busy, but I'm ready for work to slow back down. My 3wt has gone completely unused since the storm (though my 4wt has tangled with a few gar on those rare days off).

Hoping to have some time to fish and post sooner rather than later at this point.
