a couple of years ago,I bought an Orvis Recon 10' 2wt for my son to do some serious nymphing. Unfortunately, he and his wife decided to have a baby and his fishing time has become non-existent. So.I took it out once last spring. It was incredibly powerful, able to swing wooly buggers and pretty much everything. Cheers,Chet

While on vaca last year I picked up a GLoomis IMX PRO-EURO 10' 2 wt.

I haven't done anything with it yet. I need to get an appropriate reel and some line and leader for it. It will prolly go to Yellowstone with me this year, and possibly to N.C. if I go in the spring.

I have a Vision Nymphmaniac 10' 2wt and a Diamondback Ideal nymph 10/2wt . I like them both and have pulled in some monsters with the DB. I have other 10' 2wts and a 10' 1wt.

I just finished up building a Orvis 10’ 2wt from a kit. I have only had it out once, nut it well dead drifting heavy size#10 tungsten bead yellow tails. (Sort of a wooly bugger ) for small mouth and red eyes. I like it a lot.

So, in addition to the GLoomis IMX PRO e that I got, I also picked up a Redington Strike 3 wt, and a Diamondback Ideal in 1 wt and 10'10" 2 wt. I leave the first week in Sept for Yellowstone and haven't decided whether to take the IMX PRO or the Diamondback 1 wt.

But one of them is going. I got a Redington Tilt reel. We'll see if I can figure out how to do this Euro stuff.

Let us know how the Tilt works out. I have had my eye on it for a while now but I find it hard to spend $$ on a line holder. Rods are another story! lol
