...during my lunch hour (2 hours?) today, but only the redneck got to fish. Steady 20mph wind--gusting into the 30's. I'll try again tomorrow.

It's kind of sad that Sage dumped the LL line of rods, lots of folks liked those. Sages marketing plan though is to offer something "new and better" all the time.
Orvis was foolish too in dumping the original line up of Superfine rods.
It's good that you got out though and fished, it's too cold here, and the there is snow on the ground.

I agree. I have 2 & 4wt LL's, and I built up a 5wt LL for a friend a few years ago. All 3 cast very well, but the 2wt is the nicest to fish.

It's in the 50's here but the wind is murder today.

That LL is a nice little rod! I am glad you got out to fish! Here it was blowing and 35 degrees today.
