J, Sorry I am late to this one, but can't the shop special order these in? As far I know they're great rods, perhaps there will be some sort of event where you can try theTFO.

Yeah, That makes sense and I can see that. Perhaps the risk is bringing line for the one wt?

They have a 1wt line in the shop for test casting, they are an Orvis dealer, and they used to carry the original Superfine 1wt.

Um...then I guess my shop is strange, because 99% of their work is done online, and if they order one in, and you don't like it, they will sell it online anyway.
