Been lurking for a while, but just started down the road into the UL world after picking up a Cabelas CGR 2wt during the sale. (Thanks for the heads up Pikeonafly!)
I fish WF lines on all my other rods (4, 6, 8, & 9 wts) but I'm thinking about going with at DT line for the 2wt because I see it more of a close work, small fly tool and I haven't fished a DT line for 20 years or so. I've done some checking and it seems that options for DT 2wt lines are pretty limited. The only that I'm finding are:
Rio Trout LT Cortland 444 Sylk SA Mastery Hook and Hackle Hi-Floater
Am I missing any? Am I overthinking this and should just go with a WF line?
Thanks, John

I am using a Cabela's DT 2 wt on my CGR 2wt rod. Works for me.

1.) If you can find old stock Sage Quiet Double taper II it is sweeeet! 2.) Classic Peach 444 DT2F (very nice all-around line)

Just touched base with Cabelas and they've discontinued the Cabelas-branded DT fly lines.

Both of my 2 weight floaters are Hook and Hackle, no issues with them and I've the same brand in larger sizes.
Not sure if they still do it, but Bass Pro carries some shorter lite lines in DT, I believe under their house name the days, once they were by Cartland. I found them well worthwhile.

I use a Barrio mallard DT3 on a CTS Quartz blank. They range from DT2 upto DT8
Also using his Smallstream lines. Perfect for short to medium casts with light rods.
Best regards,
John

Barrio lines are really good and nicely priced. I have several and would buy more if I needed any lines.

Cortland also markets a DT2F as part of their Trout Boss line. I have fished with it only once but was happy wit it that day.
