I’m thinking about adding a 2 wt to my small arsenal and I’m looking at the TFO and Redington rods. I’ve heard good things about both, but I have not had an opportunity to fish with either one. I was wondering what those of you who have used both think as far as your overall opinion of the two rods. I realize that they might each have their pros and cons, but all things being considered, which rod do you prefer? I’ll be using this rod for bluegill, smaller bass, and hopefully some trout.
Thanks,
D

I do not own or have used a Redington but do own the TFO 2 weight 8' Professional, I highly recommend it. caught up to 4lb bass and is lovely for Blue Gill.

And I can give you an equally strong recommendation for the Redington rod. I'm sure either would be fine.

I got a couple bonefish on the TFO 2wt 8'... if that helps.
Have never tried the Redington. I use to have an 8WT Crosswater from Redington, very nice entry rod.
