What line do you use for your TFO Finesse 1wt (6ft 9in) and 0.5wt rods (5ft)? I realize it is personal preference. In my case, this will probably be used at very close range (20 ft), therefore very little line will actually extend out of the rod.
The lightest lines I have are a Cortland Precision SL Trout Boss (Tin can) DT2F, and a no name El Cheapo Chinese WF2F line. I will try both out this weekend, but I am relatively inexperienced, and may have some trouble figuring out, if I am having difficulties, whether it is the rod, the line or the combo, that is giving me issues.
If you use the above rods, what line are you happy with on those rods?

I use a cheap bass pro 2wt dt on my 1wt....casts just fine for me....I also use a shorter leader......casting took me a while before I achieved any degree of accuracy or distance.....had to learn to slow down and let the rod load and unload.Awesome rod.

At the suggestion of others on this forum, I paired mine with Barrio Small Stream 1 wt line. I've been happy with it.

I used a Orvis WF2F Superfine on my Finesse 1wt. On my 2wt Finesse I use a Orvis WF3F Hydros HD Trout and a WF3F Superfine.

IMO these rods best perform with any WF2 lines. Your choice but for close in work under 20 feet a WF2.5 might be best.
