Looking for some thoughts from those who have been using these short lines.. They are marketed under White river small stream now. True to weight? Similarity to a peach?

I've been looking at them for a while but haven't heard great things from the local staff. I'll pick one up in a DT2 and see what I think of it.

I have one in DT4 that I have never used, but I know several very experienced flyfishers who use those short lines and like them a lot.

I would, but it's only 45'. That's too short for me. Seems perfect for close quarters fishing.

I ended up not getting one because of how short they are and not wanting to cast into the backing. Not that I fish that far out most of the time but it will happen. Also found a deal on a full line.

It's actually odd that I have never used mine because on the stream that I fish the most I have never made more than a 30' cast,
