Was pretty excited to finally acquire one of these reels. It is a 2 3/4" reel machined from magnesium and is fairly light for its size. I believe from what I was able to find that they were made in the late 70's to early 80's. It has a click pawl drag with an on off knob and has a nice light click one way and a noticable heavier click the other way. Pawl can be flipped for left or right hand retrieve. A very nice reel for an ultralight rig and will hold a full double taper line. Working on how to post photos but am not going to join another photo hosting sight.
Keep your eyes out for one of these vintage reels.

I posted pictures over on the fiberglassflyrodders forum under classic reels if anyone would like to see what it looks like. I'm done with storing my images on hosting sights. I cannot even erase my photos on photobucket unless I pay.

Nice find, these reels are rare, even here in the UK. I had the Shakespeare centenary 2600 which was extremely light been magnesium, but was a little to rose coloured for my liking so sold it on. They also made a president which I believe to be very similar to the international. Tight lines
