Yeah, the smallest is a WF4F line in the First Cast. I would like to see someone market a short UL line that fits on the UL reels available, BPS UL and others...

I guess this the price we pay for not being into mainstream "heavy tackle" :-) I really don't *need* that many lines, but I love to experiment so it's fun to have at least a couple WF and a DT lines from different manufacturers in each line weight.

I will be snow casting this winter to stay sharp, and Lord knows how I will mark my targets...maybe our kiddie pool?

You can grab DT1 and DT2 lines on eBay for less than half what they are on the sticker...

flyflingerandy1 wrote: I will be snow casting this winter to stay sharp... I feel bad for you. Still, there has to be someplace you can fish during the winter huh? C'mon down--it's not that far ;-) In Austin I knew a little spot where a storm drain dumped into a main river. Even when it was freezing outside and the river was too cold to fish, the water from the storm drain stayed fairly warm and there were almost always a few active fish right where it entered the river. It wasn't much but it was something :-)

Yeah, I can catch some trout here...but they are not my first choice. I caught a bass in sub 50 degree water Tuesday.
