I am looking for advice on a rod to fish for the small fish around town. Mainly fish that no one else thinks are respectable other than to use for bait. I had a ball last fall fishing for these fish in my short periods of free time. I am currently fishing with an Ego Competitor 8'7" 3wt nymph rod. I want something lighter for these fish that I can tightline with as well as cast in these small tight waters. Do I go all in on a Sage Dart 0wt or try something else?

RDP 0wt or 1wt is a good rod at not a bad price.
I have 7'6" but he also does shorter if you are interested.
