purchased this on saturday and had a chance to break it in on the roaring river yesterday. i am by no means an accomplished caster, but am very pleased with the performance of the rod. could delicately cast a dry at 20-25 feet or so and could boom out a longer cast with a beadhead woolly as well. the length helps with mending and the rod feels great with a fish on. even roll casts fairly well, especially for a fast action rod. the fit and finish are fine for a rod at this price in my opinion and i really like the color scheme. had a chance to wiggle the tfo pro 8' 2wt and am itching to get that now.

Darin, I would fish the TFO 2wt with a WF3F line, but honestly, if you are looking for a 2wt, get the LST 7'6" 2wt. I LOVE MINE! It is a soft 2wt and liked a WF2F Cortland Clear Creek line as well as a TT2F Wulff JWS line.
