Indirectly, I can tell you yes. There are many members here that have built, or are going to build rods on those blanks. The 7' 3wt Lamiglas Honey colored blanks are legendary. The man who owns that company used to own Redington, and has been involved with Albright. His name is Dave Redington. In all honesty, if you really want a rod on that blank, ask a few guys who have built a Lami rod, and let them either talk you through it, or hire their services for the rod.

I had a 4wt Lamiglas fly rod that was the slowest rod I have ever cast, cane included. It was peaceful, but I wanted a little more butt to it. jkurtz loves his 7' 3wt!

The 7' 3wt Lamiglas I built is the cat's meow. It's dang near perfect for gill fishing. Andy's right, you can build one of these for half what you would pay for someone else to build it for you.
