Guys, you'd better get your rest now because springtime is almost here. That means long days on the water with plenty of fish being caught!!! Rest now.

I'm meeting two friends in the Wisconsin Driftless next week. Temps are supposed to be in the mid 20's. Perfect for winter fishing.

Seriously though, if you have a list of chores and honey-dos that need to be done put them off until next December because fishing is much more important.

Too late, Cliff. I already told her it was YOUR idea and once again I have been led astray by a smooth talking southerner. Her name's Patricia, but I call her Vito (well, actually, VETO ) Anyway, she's been putting up with my foolishness for almost 50 years; you wouldn't stand a chance. (we had another foot of snow in the last day or so, so I took the opportunity to hide inside to dismantle and lube all my reels and treat my fly lines. Not on the chore list, but it suddenly seemed critical.) brent

Again suffering low thirties this morning. Last few days were the 50-60's. An early sand bass run is predicted, hence the occupation of time on Rowlett Creek.
