Nice little rainbow. What fly did you use? Can't see on photo, looks a bit like a little wooly bugger?

#10 Krystal bugger (bugger with cactus chenille body).

Hey guys,

Just wrapped up the 20+ hour drive home from upstate NY/RI, and thought I'd share a link with a few pics.

Caught lots of fish (not all on UL), and managed (along with my teammate) to place 4th out of 45 teams in The Mayfly Project's 25 on the Fly tourney along the way.

It was quite the trip, and one I look forward to repeating next year.

Sounds like a great day and congrats to the 4th place.

I had another pretty good day for trout too, fortunately I only have to drive like 15 miles to get to that little stream. Unfortunately I think the stream doesn't hold very big trout but using my 1 wt even the smaller ones are great fun and I do enjoy smaller fish too. That's the good thing about ul rods:)

Also caught a little white fish which I found out is from a quite endangered species which was extinct in our region but now is tried to be brought back in a resettlement program

Beautiful fish, and congratulations on the rarity. Wish I had trout streams that close to home.

So I finally broke down and am now offically in the Ultralight fly fishing club. I will say that the 2 wt redington is a significant change from my St. Croix 4 wt, but I did end up catching a few small bass today.

It wasn't completely extinct everywhere but in our state it mostly was

Welcome aboard. Your welcome packet should be arriving soon, pending receipt of first month's dues.

Looks like you had a fun outing!

Has he been informed that the dues must be made payable to, and sent to, me? And they've been raised from $0.00 to $0.00000001. Eurocoin accepted.
