For the full experience, play this on whatever format you prefer. It's really good.

One morning I swore I wouldn't come home until I caught the first bass of the year. I did, so I was able to come home.

They got bigger. Relatively speaking. This was #4. They all wanted a #10 gurgler

I can't tell you about this trip, or else I'll be put in time out. If I could I would tell you how sweet the S.A. Amplitude Infinity 5wt. Bonefish line is, especially since I got it for 43 bucks NEW! South Florida is awesome. Disregard this portion of the report

Today I grabbed the 2 weight, which still had the gurgler on it. Headed to the canal, popped this little guy.

A local retention pond yielded some little bass, this being the biggest

By the way, there were bass in south Florida that would have been ideal on a 2 weight. But I had a five, so I can't tell you about them.

Shhhhh...

Nice peacock (even if you're not allowed to talk about it)! That's one that is still on my bucket list. I've caught quite a few on spinning gear in Central America, but never one on the fly.

One thing on my to-do list is to fly to Mexico and catch a 15+ peacock on a fly.

Nice seeing the leaves out down your way. Our trees are still bare and the daffodils are just starting to bloom. I caught a few bluegills today out of a local retention pond today and they felt like ice cubes.
