So, this printed reel was a Christmas gift. I finally set it up. Kind of. I mean, I put a mile of backing on it, and still didn't fill the spool. Light as a feather, probably too light.

This was the only hit. My largest on the 3wt bamboo:

Strummer,

I am with you… If I landed a monster like the one you did, I would call it a day too and go home for a cup of coffees. Good on You Brother!

Enjoy and Be Safe!

Chunk of a bass, there. :applause Largemouth out of some waters do that, they start “thickening” earlier than the long/slender fish out of other waters.

Love the pairing of new/old on the rig. A modern concept like a printed reel coupled with traditional material like ‘boo is just perfectly proper. To me, anyway. I like this type of contrast and mixing, especially when it just plain works well.

Strummer, that's very nice. Those 3D printed reels certainly aroused my curiosity as soon as I became aware of them. However, my low-tech tendencies and a lack of access to a 3D printer never did allow me to scratch the itch. Please let us know how it works out as time goes by.
