Hey guys,

Sorry for my absence as of late. It has been a busy (and hot!) summer, and I just haven't dusted off the UL rods in far too long. While I did test out my new H3 9wt back in early July, that doesn't exactly fit the qualifiers for this forum.

Thankfully, a long weekend visit to RMNP with my wife at the end of July gave me the opportunity to finally put my 3wt to work. Admittedly, the fishing (rather catching) was less than stellar, but I can't complain given the company and scenery. A few fish pics are below, but check out the link if you'd like to see some of the landscapes and my wife's wildlife shots.

I'll do my best to post more regularly as the weather begins to cool.

Chris

Thanks, Cliff! Credit to my wife for those photos.

She spent about an hour in her waders midstream while I fished a Trico spinner fall on the South Platte one morning prior to our visit to the park. The trout there seem to be as fearless as they are discerning. They didn't even seem to mind the human standing 10 ft up stream as they ignored my presentations and sipped natural Tricos.
