Hello, I am building a 4pc 2wt on a forecast blank with single foot guides. I'm not sure if I'm seeing things but, I wrapped the guides on the top tip section. The bottom two closest to the ferrule seem to be slanting forward and the top two closest to the tip seem to be straight up vertical when wrapped. They are all size 1 pacbay light wire guides. I'm wondering if this is the result of the taper that is causing it, or if I have some crooked guides? I have never worked with SF guides before and have nothing to compare they line up straight on the blank just have slightly different angles towards the ferrule... Janus

B. single foot guides are not always symmetrical shall I say. You may have to try and bend some so they look right. On my factory Loomis, they all slant forward a bit.

Not all straight and there is some differences in blank taper. Hold the feet securely and bend them to taste. Don
