So I had a CTS affinity one '9 #2, which is a lovely rod! Butt the thing was that it is a medium action rod of maybe slower and that not my thing. So I putt it up for sale and was planning to buy a tfo '8 #2.
Not sure about that rod and my desission i asked friends on facebook if they had an idea for something like this ( at least '8 and fast action. And ul ofcourse! )

Someone said build you're own! And after some contact and information, and a night with little sleep!! I decided to do it! I'm building a '9 #1 CTS affinity x!

Uh oh.

You're gonna need a bigger rod rack. No one ever builds only one.

It makes the experience that much better when you catch something on a rod you put together yourself. You made the right decision! Post pictures of the build when you are finished!

Here are some shots of the progress with my rod. Need to put all of the windings on the rod. The ones in the picture will be done again. These were my first try! Will stick with this color, which will be darker when varnished. So far i'm really happy with the results. And eager to finish and fish it!
