Likely asked many times but who is producing them in a 7’9” to 8’ range and are they readily available?

Mike , I was just on Aliexpress and searching a store called NoonRoo . They carry what you asked about but I have no idea if they are true though . Two years ago I bought a 9' 2wt from them and before I could fish it broke the tip on it and they jerked me around around a replacement tip , never did get it .

Hi Jangles
Thanks for the info.
I have since ordered a 7’3” 2/3 wt. Steffen glass blank.
Meant to be ready in January. That will give me plenty of time to make the reel seat.
I’ve started making my own tapered aluminum slide bands and cork spacers.
Sorry to hear about your tip breakage experience. That would have hurt.
Best
Michael

If you have never cast a Steffen before you are in for a happy surprise.

Hi Larry
I’ve not ever cast a Steffen . Mark Mckellip is building out an 8’ 3/4 Steffen at present and the 2/3 l will build myself.
Really excited about getting on stream with them as it’s trout season down here.
