Joined almost 2 year ago but don't think I ever posted a hello, my bad.
I live in the quiet corner of Connecticut and fish the many freestones in the area as well as the farmington tail water. Do majority of my local fishing with 3 wt. and 2 wt's. Guiding for a fly shop gives me the ability to try lots of different rods. In the 40+ years I have fly fished I have always like the lighter weight rods. they give trout the ability to show their stuff. my favorite ultralight is my Hardy 8' 3wt Zenith followed closely by a 7'6" 3wt Greys GR50 and TFO 8' 2wt.

Welcome Steve. That Zenith 3 weight has been on my radar for awhile but for some reason they want you to actually pay for it before you can use it
