Les is having lobster catered today along with Dom Perignon to drink, with shrimp cocktail for appetizers. He's using our UFF club dues to pay for it. Oh gee Les, maybe we shouldn't have lobster because someone might get offended that we're eating shellfish. I guess that we should have a vegetarian lunch so no one will be offended. And maybe we shouldn't be fishing because we might hurt those nice little fish.

That's me in the tube in the 2nd pic, Mike showed my best profile. It was a fun day but unfortunately I only caught 75-80 fish when I was hoping to catch at least 100. Eric, thanks for picking up my lap basket for my tube and putting it on those rocks! I knew I had dropped it somewhere but I had no idea where.

That was me Cliff, Eric was still in the same spot when I walk back down stream and fished with him before we headed out. We both bid pretty well right there in the same spot that we started. I don't think we managed 75-80. Maybe between the both of us.

Les, those porterhouse steaks you cooked for us were great, but next time I wish you'd bring a different vintage of Dom Perignon. The 1986 vintage you brought was very good, but the 1979 vintage is much better.

Eric, thanks for the 2/3wt shooting head. I haven't fished it yet, but did some lawn casting with it. Works great!

For warm water it should be great maybe even trout as the head is 20 feet. Should be able to mend the line. Makes casting in tight places a little easier. Try the jump roll cast, fun.

Les quick question. What formula did you use for those hand tied maxima chameleon leaders? Just ordered some 8 lb to twist a few up, but wanted to know what you did for the knotted tappers. Was thinking 20, 15, 8 then 5x

Mike, I can't remember what I did, except I do have some 8# chameleon and some lighter ones too.
