This Japanese site (in English) may not be everyone's taste, but some will find this gentleman's dedication to fishing for the native Japanese char with an 8ft 2wt bamboo rod, silk lines, and tiny flies a bit fascinating. Site navigation isn't up to 2008 standards, but worth the effort--just click on everything and see what's there. I was particularly taken with the anatomically correct ants--tied on #26-32 hooks and made entirely of tying thread! If you think you might need a new reading prescription, just try a few of these, and you'll know for sure--also a trial of your inner calm! I do a few each season to sharpen my skills and go a little crazy, even though I have absolutely no use for #28 ants in my waters. http://www1.odn.ne.jp/bambriarsilk/index.html.htm

That really is an interesting website, thanks for posting it. I'm interested in Japanese fly fishing so I've enjoyed reading up on it when I can find a site that is in English.
