Well it started out as an UL trip but the winds whipping threw the canyon made me put away the 2wt and bust out my 4wt. Fish are small, but they where active. First was on a psycho prince nymph. Then they started busting the surface. Managed 3 or 4 more on a parachute Adams.

Mike, have I ever told you how much I hated you being able to fish in God's country up there while all I have to fish in around North Texas is flatland?

That's a beauty! I'll be in that area, in about three weeks, and I'm hoping to find some action, like that!

Ya Sasha me too. It was a good year down there, but nothing beats being able to head out with the family.

I used to love to fish the Ark. Haven't been there in over a decade now. All trips to CO are only onto the Canojos when we are in NM.

I'm headed there tomorrow for Friday/Saturday fishing. Last year we had a banner day between Cotopaxi and Salida. Hopefully the weather cooperates and I'm ahead of the runoff...
