New used Sage TXL 00 rod. Ironic, this is the series on the Sage line up I used to make fun of. My Lampson Konic 1.5 is a tad heavy. I had a left over Black Eagle 3400 which is close and will work for now. I was in a hurry and had only scraps of two colors of backing and the lightest line I could find at the store was a WF 2, which I bought and rolled on the reel.

I lawn cast it and found the rod handled over lining just fine.

Hope to hit a stream tomorrow. Too windy today.
