Nice job. Plenty of storage without having everything scattered. Plus it will always carry that certain sentimental value that makes it priceless.

It's still a work in progress. I built a pegboard frame and installed it above the desk. I needed a place to store thread, so I built one to go all the way across the desk. I am also building 3 shelves to go above the desk.

Looks great! Interesting accent colors, but to each his own.

I've been seeing that color in a number of vintage camping trailers that have been remodeled and sort of liked it.

Looks just like a new house! Remember to take some photos after it has been used for a while. That's when it will have the homey look to it

That turned out really nice. I could use a desk like that.

Great job refinishing the desk....the color scheme is exactly what a person sees in homes here throughout New Mexico. Very nice! Of note, I have the same desk I inherited from my Grandparents...love it and cherish it. -Mike

HmooseK:
I too really like that desk. And, MKA is correct, that turquoise color reminds me of the Land of Enchantment. I can almost smell Hatch green chiles roasting outdoors (Sandia variety) just looking at your tying desk. Well done.
