I'm collecting vintage hats.
This is a "deerstalker" tweed hat.

P.S.Try UK's eBay for that, there is a lot of tweed there :)))

Not as impressive as most in this thread, but here we go.
Rainbow trout: White River CV2 3wt rod and reel, floating WF 3wt line, 7x tippet, bead head peacock herl tied on a #18 scud hook.
Image

American Shad: same rod/line/tippet, yellow yarn and chenille shad fly...don't remember the hook size, maybe a #14.

Rod/Reel/Line/tippet: St Croix Imperial 3 wt Rod, Okuma SLV Reel, SA 3wt DT Floating Line, 6x tippet
Fly Size and Pattern: Light green Elk Hair Caddis abt size 14
Fish Species, and Size if you want: Snake River Fine Spotted Cutthroat about 20 plus inches
Location: A Tributary of the Snake River

This fish is one of my favorites because it was such a surprise. I caught it in a very small pool, and I had a horrible time getting it in and out of all of the roots and branches. I didn't think I had a hope.

Here is a picture of the fish:

And here is a picture of the brushy little hole it was hiding in.

Another view of the fish's girth

Cabelas 3-weight combo -- Northern Snakehead (small one)
#10 MM Minnow (olive over white)

This is posted in the "reports" section, but thus far this is my best UL catch to date ;). Very fun, and kind of a "goal" for the urban fly anglers in this region.

There's something about that fish that gives me the willies, maybe it's just the name. I've never seen one, do they bite, it looks like you've got a pretty firm grip on it, thanks for sharing.

Snakeheads are definitely strange looking, but like most urban myths I've never found them to be particularly "aggressive" or anything like that. They act like most any other fish when you bring them to hand.

They do have teeth though, so you have to be careful but it's no big deal.

I posted this in UL photos, but this is by far the biggest fish I have caught on my TFO one weight, it was not the most graceful landing hence his messed up nose. There was nothing but granite around him when he took the fly so I think he hit some rocks. The fight was very fun though I wasn't sure it the rod was going to survive I've never pushed it that far.

First Catfish on Fly

3wt TFO BVK, 3-4 Redington Drift reel with 3wt SA GPX line and a 6" 6lb straight mono leader. Out fishing for Speck on the St Johns River near Lake Monroe using a #8 Empie Shiner streamer.
