Chris, I've been looking at those Tenryu rods. I know they are a hybrid of carbon and glass. I fish glass about 99% of the time. Could you compare the action of the 7' Packer to a glass rod? I have glass from very slow to very fast, but none are as stiff as some of the carbon rods.

I gotta ask: is that an 'electrocution hazard' warning sticker on the rod? Is that required by law where you live?

I hate to have to admit I have never fished with a glass rod.
It has a Common Cents AA of 60 degrees if that helps.

I have enough frustration already.
Besides - I have a sneaking suspicion building rods is like eating potato chips. You can't stop with just one.
