I've been a lurker here for some time. This past year has been fishless due to work and C19. But I finally got a trip in to Colorado between Gunnison and Crested Butte. Here is a cutthroat from Spring Creek, north of the reservoir. Caught on a bead head wooly bugger and my old Sage TXL-F 000wt... Spring Creek by Tom Hart, on Flickr

That's a beauty! I didn't figure that creek had cutts like that in it anymore. Haven't fished it in years or above the reservoir in a couple decades. Nice!

That´s a pretty fish and some beautiful country. It’s also very nice to see that you caught it on a 000-weight. We haven’t seen anything about the sub-zero equipment for quite some time. Wonder why that is.

It's a fun rod (my favorite actually) on smaller streams, and capable of throwing a beadhead woolly or a small nymph with strike indicator when necessary. This little stream gave up (temporarily) several browns and rainbows too. rainbow by Tom Hart, on Flickr brown by Tom Hart, on Flickr

Wow! Those are all perfectly beautiful specimens, and streamborn as far as I can tell. That bow is stunning (even though I have a special affinity for cutts).

Nice looking fish, and that area of Colorado is hard to beat for fishing and scenery.
