This is a small lake (96 acres) that I love to fish several times each year. It is a warm water mid elevation mtn lake located here in East Tennessee. It is known for the large population of shellcrackers but lots of largemouth bass and other bream also.

A few more shots of the lake. I like to be on the water before sunrise. The upper end of the lake averages 2-6 ft deep Lots of little bass and bream that love a popper. I've never seen anyone else fly fishing this lake.

PKrotine.........you are in TN?
Hmmmm.......do I hear the rumblings of the first UltraLight Fly Fishing 'Clave?????
I bet there are a lot of deserving spots in Tennessee that we could meet at for some tiny rod waving!

David, No I am not in Tennessee, but rather in sunny Cleveland Ohio. But my aunt has a place in Spring City right on the river. I love it there, I wish I could live there year round. Either way I would do a clave.

Sunny in Cleveland? I'm about an hour south of you, no sun here, and cold as hell.

I guess you didn't sense the sarcasm ;] to be honest today was awful. that **** wind cut right through you. it could have been Paul Bunyan out there and he would have shivered.
