Looks like you've had a good summer! Nice fish and fishing setup. I can't wait to try out some glass myself.

Glass is a heck of an addiction... And I'm not talking methamphetamines.

Itchy,
Nice to see you here! Those suckers are gianormous. The smallie is gorgeous as is the brown.
I agree that glass is a blast. Just a little over one week until we hit the driftless for browns and brookies on UL glass. Then at your suggestion (uh, thank you, thank you very much) it is up to the Bois Brule for steelhead.

Don't matter what anyone thinks of the rod as long as your happy thats all that matters .....used to fish for suckers when I was a kid, they are scavengers if I recall like carp, but fighting fools and some were pretty good size .. Nice looking smallie now that's a brawling fish !!

Nice variety pack. That run seems to be pretty productive Agree with the Pro Glass comments. The right medium progressive taper is ideal for small tight streams.

As long as your happy with your rod I wouldn't pay attention to what anyone else says. Nice fish by the way. I like the colors on the smallie. I'll bet that sucker was a lot of fun. I remember getting into a mess of them on the Prairie River in Wisconsin. They would take a dead drifted nymph. Fun times.

gorgeous looking rodl!!
(only thing I donĀ“t like is the little ring to hold the fly, too bad most rods come with one...)

Great photos,,, thanks for posting.
The little fly holder ring above the cork is easy to remove, it will leave a slight blem on the rods finish. I also do not like the hook keepers.
