I am looking to purchase a 1-2 weight glass rod without breaking the bank too badly. Please PM me if you have anything that you want to unload which may fit the bill.

Thanks

I've never seen a 1 weight glass rod. The only 2 weight I'm familar with comes from south fork rod company(http://www.southforkrodcompany.com/clas ... _rods.html). Please let us know if you find any others-p-
and that one actually carries a 1wt line better...
I had one and traded it off to another board member- it's my understanding that it's still out there perhaps owned by a third or fourth genration buyer.

The only glass rods I know of in this weight category is the Steffen 1/2 wt. in 5'6" and 6' lengths and the older Scott F series 1wt. But Pearow correctly points out the south fork rod company as I've heard many folks claim that the rod does better with a 1wt. than a 2wt. line. It's the classic series 6'6" 2wt. SFRC.

Cortland makes a diamondglass 2wt and I believe diamondback had a short 2wt as well in the original series.
