Hi brothers & sisters of the angle,
I am new to this forum & wld appreciate some advise on the following casting styles of either of these rods if any 1 has had the pleasure to flick them lately..especially when faced with a stiffish breeze. I do own a TFO finesse 1wgt custom build, but am curious about the casting styles of these others. Is it too much to ask a 1wgt to turn over a dry & a dropper? As u can see my experience with these "twigs" is limited. Cheers.

Welcome Trowter :) I have a custom TXL-F 2wt and a Sage made TXL-F 00wt. They both are great rods and yes I can even cast a double nymph setup with a size 18 beadhead and a size 30 dropper with ease on the 00. The rods are strong and unless you mean trying to cast 30' in a strong wind you will enjoy your 1wt. I have not had the pleasure of casting the TFO so I'll let others give you information on it.
