When your accomplice bails on you and leaves you in front of a fairly angry mob. In case you missed it:

This is not really a relevant post on this page unless you are just overly bored and neep to post something.

At least it is in "Off-topic discussion". Those walleyes were hardly ultralight after having their bellies stuffed with lead sinkers.

Indeed. That's what that board is for, I think. Heck, I posted about walkie talkies here, and Cliff told us about his cataract surgery (although I see no discernable change in his outlook).
On the topic of the off-topic, I can think of no quicker way to take the joy out of fishing (for me, at least) than to make it seriously and monetarily competitive.

Now Brent, just because I do it doesn't mean it's ok for others to do it ;) . I'm special (that's what my grandmother used to tell me many, many, many, many, many years ago :) ).

I saw that story about the cheating scandal and I doubt that those two reprobates will ever fish in another tournament again. I'd be willing to bet that they never fish again in any lake where they might be recognized. They'll also probably have to move to another town.

Brent, I just noticed that "Off Topic" is only for "non-fishing" topics, so I guess we will have to start a new section for fishing topics that are non-ultralight. If we do that we can move this thread over to there and still be legal.
