I signed up for a program for training with the State of Alabama seniors program...for 55 and older residents who would like to be retrained for the work force...Had a interview this morn...I start a job working with Senior Citizens on Tuesday...Only 19.5 hours a week but, since my unemployment is getting low and soon to cease, it is a blessing...It will not be a physically challenging job...Just helping with basic computer skills...entertaining and listening to and detecting any minor problems that I can report to my supervisor...have all afternoons free...and Friday-Sunday off to fish!!! I will be making less than my unemployment benefits...but, steady work and enough for me to get by on....Just wanted to share this with my friends here on the site.....

Rob Congrats man! I heard on TV there is a bill to add an additional 13 weeks unemployment to existing claims. I don't know the details.
