I just had to show you guys this 11.7#, 30" striper I caught at Texoma this morning on my 9', 7-wt fly rod with a silver/white clouser. If I could have found a certified scale near Texoma it would have been a new lake fly fishing record.

I caught it using a sinking tip line in 10'-14' of water, fishing on the bottom.

That striper turned into a couple of nice fillets, Paul! The little largemouth will taste good as an appetizer. :D

Yeah, but they're going to taste VERY GOOD! :D (Oh, they were both very alive on the stringer. It wasn't until I put them in the ice chest and covered them with ice that they turned very dead. :lol )

PCBs and lead add spice to the flavor of the fish.
