I was in Wegmans the other day and passed the holiday section and noticed these.  I'm not sure how much flashabou any of you use, but these were only 99 cents each.  It's thicker than most flashabou I've used, but sometimes I want something a little bit thicker.  Anyhow thought I'd pass the word.  Keith

They work just fine!
I bought mine after Christmas and got half off that price! I admit they work better on bigger flies though. I have caught a lot of salt water fish on Clousers with this flash.

I do all my grocery shopping at one of Wegmans show case stores. They always have loads of tinsel type materials & decorations. Never thought of picking some up.

Location: Lorain, Ohio but can be found in fishing waters of West by God West Virginia and southern Ohio.
Got a big box full of that stuff. I noticed they are not as strong as real stuff and some color bleed but use them in my muskie flies so they will totally get trashed anyways.

With Easter coming you will have another simular item coming into the stores. Easter basket grass. I have found they use a lot of holografic colors and pearlecent colors. They make for great wing cases etc. A bag will last a lifetime.

I am pretty sure you can't buy that stuff in Illinois. Have not seen it in years...
