The mad scientist is cool. I got my Christmas box a month ago. I don't know what to do with some of the materials yet, but I'll figure it out.

I like to use the weekly 40% off coupon and hunt for stuff at Hobby Lobby.

Which collection was that? Looks like an excellent bargain.

And Bob9, good idea. And welcome to ULFF!

Where is the 40% off coupon you used?

It can be found in the Sunday papers. It is also available on-line at www.hobbylobby.com. You can print it from their website.

I wasn't able to find it at hobbylobby.com. The chance that the Boston sunday papers have a fly fishing coupon is slim to none, and leaning towards none.

Go to http://www.hobbylobby.com. Click on "In-Store Specials" at the top of the page. A 40% off coupon pops up. It's a store coupon, not fly fishing specific. Look the store over, but use only (1) coupon per visit. I print 2-4 coupons at a time. The local store is only 1/2 mile away.

Oooohh, ok. I found that coupon but reread your post and realized I assumed something else from it. I missed the end for some reason and thought the 40% off coupon was for the fly tying supply kit in the first post. I got it now.

It is for only (1) item per visit.

I think the first post was for Fly Tyers Dungeon. Never bought anything there. It has some cheap prices and even cheaper clearance materials. I've heard his deliveries are slow - one man operation. I had an email question I sent him, but never got a reply.

Just to be fair as the previous poster had a sort-of negative review. I bought from Fly Tyers Dungeon several times. I received them all within 2 weeks (more like 10 days) with an exception of Holiday specials (you have to reserve them in advance, and they will be shipped around Thanksgiving). So far I have no issue. His newsletter tells you if his vacation is coming up or is away for a while.

Regarding the actual materials, there were a couple of things I didn't like (it's hard to tell just from the online descriptions), but overall I like them. I've caught panfish, trout, bass, and some saltwater species, so fish don't mind, either.

Let's see how pearow does with his.
