Here's a little deal I came up with to fit under your tying vise to catch hair, feathers, dropped beads, etc. A coffee lid, cut and fitted under the vise. After tying the fly, just dump the trash into your trash can, put it back, and tie another, The Home General will think youre so cool; no deerhair on the table; no marabou floating around; no more metal beadheads dropped where you can't find them. If you can't be handsome, you can be handy!!!-(red green)-p-

Good idea Gene. I've spent a lot of time on the floor searching for beads and small hooks, plus time dumping each scrap into the trash can.

well, its not a GREAT IDEA, but we need some more posting on this frugality forum so I thought I would submit something. Actually, I have a lot more frugal things but theyre borderline CHEEP so I've refrained. I'm gonna improve this little coffee lid trash container by DUCT-TAPING it to the pedestal base. Its what red green would do!!!!!!-p-

And he'll sell them for only $29.92 + $25.99 shipping & handling. And if you order right now he'll include 10 of his famous, guaranteed, fish-catching flies. :lol :lol
