 Post subject: Cheep, cheep line winder

It rained all day; got tired of building rods and tying flies so I built this little line winder; already have 2 or 3 I've built but I just like to build stuff; I'm from Arkansas and it pretty much shows; but it works; cost was zero; took an hour to build and that included the black paint. If you can't be handsome; be handy(and cheep)!!!! -p-

downside to having a round line winder is you don't remove as much memory as with one that is square or much larger in diameter; next I'm wanting to build a square one just to eliminate more line memory. I did make it one sided with the handle assembly removeable so the line can be slipped off the ""drum' and stored, replaced, etc.. When you young guys retire you'll be doing stuff like this just to stay busy. -p-
