Hey guys,

I've been revamping my blog a bit and wanted to share this pattern. The post was originally put together in early June, and I've shared it in a reply to one of my field reports, but I wanted to share it again with the revamps.

Though not necessarily intended as such, it has turned into a great cricket pattern for me when tied as shown in the post with everything from 3" sunfish to 18" largemouth falling victim so far. Heck, even a pair of trout took a swipe at it during my recent Smokys trip (though I failed to set the hook both times).

Please let me know what you think:

Thanks
Chris

Thanks Strummer. We did alright closer to Baton Rouge, but it sounds like NOLA took a bit of a beating. The one saving grace was a cold front pushing in from the west didn't allow the storm to sit over the region for too long. Quite strange waking up to blue skies and 50 degree temperatures the morning after a Cat 2 storm.
