Do you have a picture of any of the flies you've purchased? I'm curious to see what they look like.

Don't know if it's what you're looking for. but I take a wide rubber band and wrap it on a hook (pulled fairly tight), tapering to a wide head. Give it a few coats of Sally's and you have a great fly for sunfish, crappies, cichlids, and small bass. I imagine pretty much anything else will eat them too. I can't post photos, but it looks just like a maggot or grub and it's a cheap and easy tie. They really work well.

White or cream mop fly. Or one of John Montana's "Hybrid" carp flies tied with cream ultra chenille for the body and either bead chain or mono for the eyes.

Hmmm, I wonder if that's what people are comparing me to when they call me a dirty maggot?

Yeah, but Brent, I'd have to quit going to the zoo.

I probably would have been better off if I had met her in the zoo, then I could have returned her to where she belonged when I got tired of her.
